Why did I read this book and what did I hope to get out of it?
I read this book to give me some ideas about how to better systemise my business and create a scalable structure. It was recommended by a number of people in my community, and I was semi-familiar with the EOS system from working with a company many years ago.
Did I learn from this book, what I hoped?
Yes.
What were my takeaways?
- Vision and Goal Setting
- Rocks (accountability)
- A way to solve issues
- Tracking important numbers
- A meeting framework
- The support, organisation and community around the book.
What was it missing?
Honestly, nothing.
Who would I recommend this book to and why?
Business owners and business managers/leaders.
If you and your key leadership were to only follow a fraction of what you’ll learn in this book, your business will see significant improvements.
This book sits in my top 5 business books of all time.
Comments:
I started reading this book as part of my continuing quest to improve both my personal life and my businesses, and man did it deliver.
I had high expectations coming into this book as it had been referred a few times, but I didn’t expect it to be as good as it is.
In fairness, I took my time reading and implementing this book in all areas. And by implementing it, I mean I literally built out every section of the book in my project management system.
I’m not sure if I’ve ever applied anything I’ve learned from a book so diligently. I’m truly thrilled with what I’ve rolled out.
