Could LED lighting be our planets saviour?
What if you could save your customers 75-90%, while saving the environment?
In a world where everything is becoming more and more expensive, it’s not very often we come across scenarios, where you can potentially be saving 75-90% off something you can’t, or certainly don’t live without.
As a global nation, we’re become more and more aware of environmental circumstances and our attention is often directed back to the topics of energy sources and energy consumption.
With the general understanding that if by improving the way we operate electrically powered appliances, we can reduce the amount of power consumption, which in effect will achieve two main things:
- It will save us money
- It will be better for the environment
The harvesting of fossil fuels like coal has huge implications on our planet on many different levels. Procedures like ‘coal seam fracking’ and open mining, leaves irreversible damage on our planet, however it’s still necessary because we need the fuel to supply our energy sources.
In this podcast, I’m joined by Greg Jones from Outdoor Lumination and we’re talking about a solution that can see you save up to 90% on the energy you use on your lighting bills.
Of course, the less power we require, the less energy creation is needed, so it’s a double edged sword in the sense that it’s effectively saving you and your customers money, while at the same time saving our planet.
Greg specialises in LED lighting solutions and it would be fair to say that I was completely shocked to learn about some of the things that he speaks that about in this episode.
If you’re an electrician, or a builder, I’m sure you’re going to be blown away by this podcast. Not only does Greg give us some amazing foresight into the existing world of lighting, he also gives us a look into the future, which is absolutely staggering.
You are not going to believe what is coming in the space of LED technology in the very near future and let me give you a hint…it’s got nothing to do with light.
Enjoy the podcast, it’s amazing.
