About this podcast

Let’s be honest, “meetings are normally a total waste of time!”

They’re so much of a waste of time in fact, that Al set out to done something about it. Back in the day when Al was working in the New York based family business with his Father and brothers, he decided to take control of systemising the business so that it would run better.

Over the course of 12 months, Al set out to create manuals on the entire business so that they could set a path for growth. One of the results was what Al has coined his ‘Meeting Manifesto’, which he talks about in his book, ‘The 7 Power Contractor’

If you’ve not yet read that book, you need to. It is amazing. You can get hold of it via his website, or on Amazon.

Why is having a meeting framework so important?

Meetings can be (and in most cases are) a complete waste of time. Rarely is there a set agenda which generally means you end up on tangents that you can’t get back from.

Communication is the backbone of any businesses success. In fact, I’d even go as far as to say that it’s the backbone of success, period. There are very few problems that cannot be addressed and completely avoided through regular communication and a clever framework around the process.

In this podcast, Al runs through his entire meeting framework AND he even has it available for you through the form below, along with another couple of goodies, so go and get them!

What has Al’s ‘Meeting Framework’ done for me?

As many of you know, I run a few businesses. I have team members all over the world and all over Australia. Meetings are crucial and we have them regularly to stay on top of things.

After reading about Al’s meeting manifesto in ‘The 7 Power Contractor’ book, I went away and created a meeting framework in a Google Doc that we now use in every meeting.

It’s been game changing for us and I’m sure if you apply it, it will be game changing for you too.

You can get hold of that framework via the form below.

As always, Al always leaves behind amazing resources. Fill in your details below to get them and to be kept up to date with all of the amazing things that are going on in Al’s world.

I have been listening to the pod casts for a few months now, I can't get enough of all the awesome content that you guys provide. Especially when you guys deliver it from a trade perspective which helps out a lot. Keep up the good work and hopefully one day I can afford one of the trade training trips.
