As we enter into the holiday period, some festive marketing ideas can help keep your customers happy and your bills to get paid.
With: Matt and Will from Growth Labz
Coming into the Christmas season, some companies get inundated with jobs from people that want things done before the break, while it’s ‘crickets’ for others.
The aim of this podcast is two fold.
- First and foremost, how can you best serve your customers coming into the festive season?
- Secondly, how can you best service your business coming into the Christmas/New Year break?
Christmas can be a chaotic time for most of us and the last thing we need in the lead up is avoidable problems. As tradies and contractors, when your customers are coming to you with a problem, it’s often can be a pretty gnarly one, so better to get to them, before they get to us.
Examples: Sewers are blocked, power is out, garden is overgrown, etc.
As a business owner, you have a responsibility to your customers to ensure that their previous problems don’t recur. Especially at a time like Christmas, when family and entertaining is on the cards.
How proactive are you in making sure your customers are not going to run into problems this year? Have you reached out to connect? Have you put a reminder in your calendar to get hold of them prior to their problem coming back? If not, why not?
What do you think your customer would prefer? You approaching them offering to reduce the chance of a problem occurring, or them calling you with an emergency because a disaster has occurred? It’s a no brainer.
And of course, it’s a double edged sword. Sure you’re being proactive in solving their problems before they arise, however you’re also at the same time building professional rapport, while at the same time creating a nice passive income stream for yourself.
In this podcast, Will and I talk about how you can use your website, along with some smart festive marketing techniques to best serve your customer, while at the same time increasing your turnover. If you find a company on Earth that doesn’t want to achieve that, please let me know, so I can get them on the podcast…and shred them.
